Description
Brazil´s two most famous destinations come together for a perfect weeklong road-trip, Rio to Iguazu Falls! Rio is home to beautiful beaches, great nightlife and sexy samba beats. Tour Rio´s Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Mountain before flying to Iguazu, where beautiful waterfalls and butterflies will be sure to amaze as you tour Iguazu´s Brazilian and Argentine sides.
Departures Every Day
Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro you will have the remainder of the day to explore the lively city or spend time relaxing by the beach.
After breakfast you will depart on a tour to see the two ‘must see’ highlights of Rio, Corcavado Mountain, home to the famous Christ the Redeemer statue, and Sugarloaf Mountain. Make sure to bring your camera as these mountains provide some of the best views of Rio de Janeiro, especially from the 360 degree cable car on the way up Sugarloaf.
Lunch included.
Breakfast. At appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Foz de Iguaçu, private service.
Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel at which point you will have the afternoon to relax and enjoy the tropical climate and jungle setting.
After breakfast you will depart on one regular, full day tour to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls where you will have intimate views of this unforgettable section of the Iguazu River. Lower and upper walkways permit up close and personal experiences with this magnificent spectacle of nature. Trails through the 210 square mile reserve provide visitors with various views of the Falls, especially the largest one, Devil's Throat. The ecological train ride is included in the tour with an option to add the Safari Nautico boat trip taking you right up to the base of the Falls ( this exiting excursion is highly recommend in order to feel the power of the Iguazu Falls. You have to know that you will get 100% wet because it is like a “natural shower”. Be sure to take some extra clothes if you want to do this boat trip. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
After breakfast, enjoy a regular, half day half day excursion to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls where you will enjoy vast panoramic views of the Falls allowing you to take them in in their entirety.
