We had a really wonderful holiday, and enjoyed every minute of it. We felt the hotels that had been chosen were excellent and we got really pleasant service. We were very appreciative of being picked up everywhere on time, particularly in the heat and cold! All the guides were friendly and informative, and we realized how important this is to understand the area. As we never go on guided tours in the UK, perhaps they are informative here, but I doubt it! The only little hiccoughs we had was when the odd taxi driver didn't speak enough English to explain that we had to sign the odd immigration forms!! But we made do with other people’s suggestions, James' school boy Spanish and my non verbal communication! It really is the most glorious country physically, if not socially! So thank you very much for organizing the trip. If you do included trips, say to Chile can you let me know.

As promised, an update on the trip to Argentina. Sorry about the rather short reply before – it has been a hectic week, during which I have barely had time to draw breath. As I mentioned in my brief email before, everything went fine. All the bits happened as they were supposed to – people turned up to collect me when expected, hotels recognized my booking, tours covered the items they were meant to. If nothing else, that is the minimum anyone I ask for, and it was delivered. But it was much better than that. It was a fantastic trip and more than exceeded expectations. Iguazu Falls were amazing, absolutely outstanding. Although I have been away for about four weeks, those couple of days at Iguazu were an absolute highlight. Thank you very much for organizing this for me. I was impressed with the efficiency and reliability of you and your organization. You suggested an excellent trip, responded to my queries promptly, kept me informed as to what was going on and ultimately delivered exactly what you promised. And all the time in a cheerful, friendly manner. I would have no hesitation recommending you to anyone else wishing to make a trip to Argentina.

I have a few minutes left here at the internet cafe and wanted to just quickly let you know that Esther and I had a wonderful time hiking the Inka Trail. What an experience. I am so glad we were able to do the real thing and didn't go for an alternative trip although I don't doubt for a moment that they aren't wonderful as well. sorry that I am writing so late. The journey was great, very well organized. The only bad thing was that the guys in Bariloche forgot to put me on the list for the trip to Tronador on that Thursday. But anyway, I did the trip on Friday, and owner/staff in all hostels were extremely helpful and friendly. As soon as I have any travel plans for South America, I’ll contact you.
