| IGUAZU & JESUITIC RUINS |
This tour will let you learn about the three most recognized icons of the Misiones province: the IguazuFalls, Jesuit Ruins and Yerba Mate. Start the tour visiting the ruins of buildings dating back to 17th Century and continue to Obera to spend the night in a typical estancia where yerba mate is produced, learn about costums and enjoy the available activities. Finally, you will spend two nights in Iguazu to visit the amazing Argentine and Brazilian falls.

Upon arrival in Posadas, you will be head on a private tour towards the San Ignacio Jesuit Ruins. When Spanish arrive to South America, Jesuits spread the Catholic religion by establishing small organized villages in the Guarani Indian areas. The tour takes you to the ruins of one of these villages where the guide teaches you further details about what was the life there. After the visit, you will be taken to La Chacra, a beautiful country house and yerba mate producer Estancia, where you will spend the night.

Activities available in the Estancia ~ Horseback riding, swimming, visit to the yerba mate plantations and its production process.

After breakfast, a private transfer will take on a 4-hour ride you to Puerto Iguazu across the province of Misiones. Upon arrival, accommodation in you selected hotel.

After breakfast, you will leave in a full day excursion to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls. You will be guided around the several paths inside the National Park to have incredible view of the more than 200 falls. At noon, you will have free time for lunch and the chance to take the optional Great Adventure navigation which takes you for a ride around the falls, the boat even stays for a while underneath a fall! In the afternoon, you will board the train that leads you to the greatest fall in the park: the Devil’s Throat. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Breakfast. Morning half day excursion to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls from where you will get panoramic views of the falls visited the previous day. At appropriate time in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport or bus terminal. You can continue your trip to Buenos Aires, Salta, Rio de Janeiro or Pantanal. |
