Salta – Tolar Grande
Today, before the breakfast, we leave from Salta to Tolar Grande town. During the trip we´ll get throught the “Quebrada del toro” (bull gorge). Also we´ll visit Santa Rosa de tastil and San Antonio de los Cobres town. Stop for lunch (not include). Then w”ll go to the west up to the highest point, Abra Alto El Chorrillo (4.560 m.a.s.l.) from there will go down throuth the Salt Lakes (salar de pocitos), “Devil´s desert”, (desierto del diablo), Siete Curvas (seven curves), severals abandoned train stations , and finally w´ll arrive to Tolar Grande (3.520 m.a.s.l.). Home made dinner (included). Accomodation in Mountain shelter (VERY BASIC ACCOMMODATION). |

Tolar Grande
Breakfast at the Refugio. Full Day, Excursion to “El Tunel Del Hombre Muerto” (the dead man”s tunnel) of 180 metres along that crosses a hill. The tunnel has got 4 vaults and e natural bridge that is situated on the centre. Here you can find “stalactites” and “salt columns”. Box lunch (included). W”ll continue the trip to Salar de Arizaro (salt lake), is one of the biggest in the world. There w”ll find an interesting formation, called “Cono de Arita” located on the centre of this salt lakes. Returne to town. Home made dinner (included). Accommodation in Mountain shelter (VERY BASIC ACCOMMODATION). |

Tolar Grande – Purmamarca
After breakfast we continue the trip to San Antonio de los Cobres, where we are going to have a lunch (not included). After Lunch, we continue curse north to reach the amazing Salinas Grandes (4.200 m.a.s.l.). Now we are going to face up the final part of this fabulous excursion, we take the expectacular mountain road “Cuesta de Lipan” , to finally reach the town of Purmamarca (seven color mountain). Accommodation in your selected hotel. |

Quebrada de Humahuaca - Salta
After breakfast we continue the way to the north and our second stop is the village of Tilcara, where we are going to see the expectacular Pucara of Tilcara (ancient fort of local Pre-Hispanic cultures). Then we are reaching the final part of our excursion, Humahuaca Village, and authentic and colonial city in La Puna. Return to Salta. Accommodation in your selected hotel. |
