Day 1 – Buenos Aires & your Argentina trip

Welcome to Argentina!
Capital of Argentina and described as the Paris of South America, Buenos Aires proudly embraces this title, as well as shows off plenty of its own culture! Explore the traditional European architecture, the cobbled streets lined with rustic outdoor cafes, the local antique and artisanal markets that offer plenty of bargain shopping, and the mouthwatering aroma of prized Argentine beef sizzling on an open “parrrilla” (barbeque) in the air. Buenos Aires is home to some excellent local designers and you will certainly find the perfect leather jacket, long leather boots and handbags for all occasions. Though above all, Buenos Aires is known as the home of the tango. Be sure to enjoy a traditional dinner-tango show and explore the colorful San Telmo and Recoleta neighborhoods.

Upon arrival in Buenos Aires you will be met at the airport and have a transfer in private to your hotel.

You will have the rest of the day to enjoy this vibrant city, leaving you the remainder of the day to explore the historic neighborhoods and enjoy the cafe culture of Buenos Aires.

Day 13 – Iguazu Falls Tour: Argentine Side

After breakfast you will depart on a private, full day tour to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls where you will have intimate views of this unforgettable section of the Iguazu River. Lower and upper walkways permit up close and personal experiences with this magnificent spectacle of nature. Trails through the 210 square mile reserve provide visitors with various views of the Falls, especially the largest one, Devil’s Throat. The ecological train ride is included in the tour. Note that in the park there are different excursions you can take for an additional cost. The most popular ones are “Gran Aventura” and it’s shorter version “Aventura Nautica”, in which the Iguazu boat trip takes you right up to the base of the Falls.
This exciting excursion is highly recommended in order to experience the true power of Iguazu Falls. (Please be aware- on the boat trip there is a 100% chance that you will get wet…the Falls provide a refreshing “natural shower”. Be sure to take some extra clothes if you want to do this excursion.)
You don’t need to reserve this excursion in advance (although you can if your want). It has departures every 15 minutes, and you can book it locally).

We had a wonderful time and came back feeling that we had a very good picture of your amazing country

Hello Lujan,

We got back 2 days ago from our trip to Argentina which you organised for us.

I would just like to say a big thank you for your help; we had a wonderful time and came back feeling that we had a very good picture of your amazing country : the variety, the sheer vastness and the (mostly) happy attitude of the people towards life; I would also like to comment on the excellence of all the guides we had - Tina in BA, Chris (I think) in Tierra del Fuego, Celia in P Iguazú and Eduardo in Salta who drove us many hundreds of kilometres with great skill and patience. They were all very knowledgeable and good humoured and obviously enjoy their job. Perhaps you could pass on our thanks and appreciation to them.

All the transfers were punctual and stress free and I thank you again for making our holiday such a pleasure.

Best wishes

Chris Bonnici

We loved Argentina!

We loved Argentina! We choose you for the good recommendation on Trip Advisor and lack of time to do our own planning ;) The booking process was very easy and interactive. Regarding hotels, we loved: Melia Iguacu and Kau Yatun and we wound OK: Hosteria Puma and Ilum Experience. Our favorite excursion were BA walking tour and BA bike tour, they were both great! Both Iguacu days with Diego were nice but would say that Iguacu does not really require a guide as one goes with the crowds. Still useful for the trip to Brazil. Our Favourite memories were biking BA, hiking Laguna de Los Tres in nice weather and staying in the Melia with early morning visits to the falls and having cocktails with Falls view in the evening.
If we need to mention a guide, Agostina from SayHueque and Martin from Biking BA were both really great
We need to mention that we did not like the Southern Spirit Trek in El Calafate. Almost all the time was spent in transit on the bus and inside the boat or waiting. We had only 45 minutes at Perito Moreno which is a bit of a joke given the tour lasted for 9 hours. Also, we enjoyed La Ventura tango show but felt it was a bit too touristic, so we wondered if more authentic ways exist to experience tango (maybe not)

We enjoyed our calafate and Iguazú visits and would like to thank you for your service.

Our trip ends today when we board the plane for Buenos Aires. We enjoyed our calafate and Iguazú visits and would like to thank you for your service. We would be glad to share some of our assessments -
The airport transfers were all good. We didn’t wait and that prompt pick up gave us a good sense of security in an new place.
The hotels at Calafate and Iguazú were superb. Weskar was also okay but too small for a party of three. Nonetheless, weskar service was good.
On the tour guide, they were all good. But the it would have been better if we were properly advised on all payments to the park. Perhaps, this advisory can be included in the day to day itinerary to prepare on the cash we needed to bring cuz natales isn’t too friendly on credit cards
Clothing advisory - the advisory on calafate and Ushuaia were okay. But the Iguazú side can be better cuz we were not prepared for raincoats - which were a must to visit the cataratas
The 24-hour service of Say Huque was excellent. It was very helpful whenever we needed clarifications, or inquiries of our travel.
One suggestion: Best to include all entrance fees to the parks in the cost. It would be less hassle cuz of currency exchange issues
Again, thanks for your service. We look forward to future relationships
Theresa
