Capital of Argentina and described as the Paris of South America, Buenos Aires proudly embraces this title, as well as shows off plenty of its own culture! Explore the traditional European architecture, the cobbled streets lined with rustic outdoor cafes, the local antique and artisanal markets that offer plenty of bargain shopping, and the mouthwatering aroma of prized Argentine beef sizzling on an open “parrrilla” (barbeque) in the air. Buenos Aires is home to some excellent local designers and you will certainly find the perfect leather jacket, long leather boots and handbags for all occasions. Though above all, Buenos Aires is known as the home of the tango. Be sure to enjoy a traditional dinner-tango show and explore the colorful San Telmo and Recoleta neighborhoods.

Upon arrival in Buenos Aires you will be met at the airport and have a transfer in private to your hotel.

You will have the rest of the day to enjoy this vibrant city, leaving you the remainder of the day to explore the historic neighborhoods and enjoy the cafe culture of Buenos Aires.

Trails through the 210 square mile reserve provide visitors with various views of the Falls, especially the largest one, Devil’s Throat. The ecological train ride is included in the tour. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Note that in the park there are different excursions you can take for an additional cost. The most popular ones are “Gran Aventura” and it’s shorter version “Aventura Nautica”, in which the Iguazu boat trip takes you right up to the base of the Falls.
This exciting excursion is highly recommended in order to experience the true power of Iguazu Falls. (Please be aware- on the boat trip there is a 100% chance that you will get wet…the Falls provide a refreshing “natural shower”. Be sure to take some extra clothes if you want to do this excursion.)
You don’t need to reserve this excursion in advance (although you can if your want). It has departures every 15 minutes, and you can book it locally).

All of Argentina is wonderful!!! !!! Everyone that we worked with in Say Hueque took care of all our needs!!

I hope you are doing well!! First of all, thank you for the empanda recipe!! We will be using it as part of our Christmas dinner! In addition to the empanadas, we will also be having Matambre with Chimichurri Sauce, Ensalada Rusa, Humita, tomates rellenos, Flan and bread pudding

We found Say Hueque on the internet. Say Hueque had excellent reviews on various websites and was mentioned in Frommer's and Lonely Planet travel websites. I will be posting a review!! I am also attaching a few photos!

We traveled to six destinations on our trip.....each destination offered it's own uniqueness. The arrangements Say Hueque made for us helped us enjoy each location that much more without having to worry about all the travel details......Say Hueque took care of all that for us!!!

A favourite hotel? LOL!! The Belmond!!! Really, really nice hotel!!! We would have loved to have stayed here a little longer!!! All the hotels arranged for us were great!! Service, cleanliness, etc.....everything was really wonderful!!! One item that really impressed us about ALL the hotels we stayed in.....once we checked in, the people that worked at each hotel remembered our names!!! Very nice to experience that!!

Again....difficult to answer what has been our favourite excursion !! Hard to compare since each excursion offered it's own unique experience! Walking with penguins....very awesome!! Perito Moreno Glacier....phenomenal!!! The hiking, the scenery.....breathtaking!! All of Argentina is wonderful!!! Every single guide we had on our trip was great!!! Everyone kept things interesting, funny and adventurous!!! We loved all of them!!!

We cannot think of anything that needed improvements or changes!!! Everyone that we worked with in Say Hueque took care of all our needs!! All arrangements were taken care of, all guides and drivers were right on time, every time!!!

We recommend Say Hueque to any one we know that may be interested in going to South America.

Hi Patty,

sorry for the late reply, but since coming home, we have been busy. We had a fabulous trip to South America thanks to Say Hueque.

We found Say Hueque on the internet researching South America/Argentina , reviews were very positive.
The good reviews and the various options, experience since 1999 as well as the good communication made us to choose to work with you.

Our hightlights have been the Iquazu Falls and the P. Moreno Glacier.
We have to favorite hotels - Toss up between the Jasy in Iquazu and the Pudu Lodge in El Chaltan. We liked the size of the rooms, the tranquility and the locations (quiet in the country) were very nice plus the balcony of the Jasy hotel.
Our favorite exucrions have been to Iquazu Falls and the Mendoza wineries. The falls were spectacular, and the wineries were very pleasant out in the country. Winery experience different from wineries in the United States. Also the P. Moreno Glacier.

Besides Patty, we enjoyed our guide in Bariloche (Frederico) and our Mendoza wine guide.. all guides were very knowledgeable. We particularly liked Frederico's enthusiasm for nature and his knowledge of Argentina's history, politics, geography, etc.

A page or two for us "English" speaking tourists, of useful phrases in the countries we visited would be useful. IE Bon Dia (good day) in Brazil, thank you, etc. And a page on paragraphs of common customs. what to expect, etc. in each country (what is polite, nor not polite, etc).

Jay and I give Say Hueque excellent grades for putting together a perfectly paced and interesting itinerary. We felt the amount of time at each place was appropriate. We felt safe the entire time, and understood that it could be a challenge. We thought the locations of the hotels were excellent!!! Close to everything we needed, clean and comfortable. We particularly liked meeting Patty in person and enjoyed sharing WHAT's APP pictures. The gift (bottle of wine) was delicious and thoughtful.

We will post our comments on trip advisor as well, and recommend Say Hueque to any one we know that may be interested in going to South America.

Regards
Jay and Louise Hecht
