Buenos Aires on Two Wheels: South Tour

Enjoy a day exploring the southern half of the city. Ride along the river in Puerto Madero. Stop by the Ecological Reserve to find an oasis of greenery in  the middle of Buenos Aires’ most modern and sophisticated district. Then, ride around ‘La Boca,’ visiting the famous and colorful “el Caminito,” complete with tango, painters and the multicolored “conventillos” sightings. Next, discover the oldest part of the city, San Telmo, where you can feel the turbulent history of Argentina. Finish the tour wandering through portenean ‘Microcentro’ and the financial district. This half day adventure shows off the great diversity found in Argentina’s capital city.

Wine Tasting

Sample Argentina’s local wines in this group tasting experience in Buenos Aires. Spend less than two hours in the city instead of venturing all the way across the country to Mendoza, the argentine wine region, to try some of the nation’s spectacular boutique wines.  Take almost two hours in the city, instead of a day trip to the Mendoza wine region, to taste some of the country’s spectacular boutique wines. Cleanse your palette in between sips, while a resident wine expert guides you through the tasting, teaching you about viticulture, history and all things wine in Argentina.

Tour to Delta Tigre

We will take you to the port of the city to board a First Class motorboat that will take you to the Delta del Tigre. During the one and a half hour trip you can admire Buenos Aires from the Río de la Plata, its northern areas and the delta channels, while enjoying refreshments on board.  Set out on a sightseeing cruise through the Tigre Delta, which is one of the largest in the world. The boat ride will take you past English-style rowing clubs, countless marinas and elegant mansions that date back to the ‘Belle Epoque.’ After disembarking, you’ll discover the Puerto de Frutos, which is a fruit and handicraft market filled with food, fun and lots of different colors. You’ll also be able to find flowers, furniture and other home goods products.

Milonga

Put on your dancing shoes and partake in the real tango traditions in Argentina by attending an authentic milanga. A milonga is where argentines dance together to live music. Before the real dance starts, you’ll have a quick private lesson to polish your skills off. Once you’ve got the basics down (or a little more for those more advanced dancers), your tango instructors will take you out to the main dance floor where they’ll help explain to you what’s happening as you watch the professionals kick off the night. After they finish up, you’ll have a chance to show off your moves and dance the night away.

Kayaking in Tigre

Escape the city with a day of adventures in Tigre, kayaking the river powered by your own strength. Row along calm and quiet waterways for two hours as you enjoy the vibrant vegetation in the gardens and forests outside the mainstream tourism circuit. Take the opportunity to get an up close look at a diverse offering of birds, plants and trees. On the tour, learn about the islander’s way of life, not to mention the history and heritage of the delta’s rich culture. As a reward, you’ll be able to enjoy a savory lunch, the argentine way, by decouring an asado at the house of a local.

Note: Tigre District is located outside Capital Federal, in the surroundings of Buenos Aires. You can reach this area by train in a 50 minutes journey, or take a private transfer for an additional price.

Estancia Day: Fiesta Gaucha

Have a rest from the noisy city and explore the green grassy pampas just outside Buenos Aires at an estancia, in San Antonio de Areco. Walk the colonial town before been greeted at the estancia with a traditional Argentine picada (a snack-like starter dish), followed by a famous Argentine asado, or barbecue. You will have the opportunity to go horseback riding or even hop on the famous sulky (an ancient form of transportation) for a ride. With dancing, singing and even horse performances thorughout the day, this activity is the perfect opportunity to witness the gauchos’ many talents.
