Accompanied by a bilingual guide, this tour will give you the chance to experience an impressive collection of 250 waterfalls. Day 1 – Welcome to Iguazú!

The small border town of Puerto Iguazú is the gateway to visit the impressive Iguazú Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site, making it a must-see destination for any traveler visiting Argentina.

Say Hueque tips

If you feel like exploring downtown Iguazú, you can visit the “Hito tres fronteras”, a viewpoint west of the town center that stands high above the turbulent reddish-brown junction of the Iguazú and Paraná rivers. Check out our blog to find out more about other places to visit in Iguazú.

Day 2 – Argentinian side of the falls

Today, our bilingual local guide will pick you up and drive you to the National Park, on the Argentinian side. The falls are surrounded by a humid subtropical forest where the exuberant vegetation is home to many different animals and birds. Our guide will help you spot some of them: ant birds, toucans, manakins, parrots, coatis, just to name a few of the most common birds. Lower and upper walkways weave in and around falls permitting up close and personal experiences with this magnificent spectacle of nature. The Argentinian side of the falls is filled with a myriad of paths and walkways and stairways which allow you to have an experience from many different perspectives. You will have the chance to meet “The Devil’s throat”: the largest of the falls and for many the most spellbinding. To get to the “Devil’s throat” you take the ecological train and then walk out along boardwalks. After walking and taking pictures of animals and plants, you will have some free time to eat lunch in this amazing environment.

At the end of this once-in-a-lifetime tour you will be driven to your hotel. This exciting, 6-7 hour-long excursion is highly recommended in order to experience the true power of Iguazú Falls.

Say Hueque tips

Would you love to have a “Great Adventure”? If you feel really adventurous, we recommend that you add on the “Gran Aventura” tour. Take an open air jeep through the rainforest and then a zodiac open air boat ride up the river to the base of the falls. There is a 100% chance that you will get soaking wet on the “Gran Aventura” boat trip, the falls provide a refreshing “natural shower”. Be sure to take some extra clothes if you want to do this excursion).

Day 3 – Iguazu falls tours: Brazilian side

After breakfast, enjoy a 3-4  hour excursion to the Brazilian side of the Iguazú falls. Don´t forget your passport! While Argentina has 80% of the falls on its side, Brazil has the best panoramic view. On the Argentine side you will have the sensation of being right inside the falls, but only by visiting the Brazilian side you will fully appreciate the immensity of Iguazú falls. Take your time to enjoy it and feel it, to stroll the different walkways and feel the spray of water in your face. Take the boardwalk over the Salto Santa María, it feels like walking on the water. Get closer to the “Devil’s Throat” and feel the power of water! We are sure this is a day you will never forget.

If you don’t want to end this adventure, today you can choose to extend your travels adding on any optional activities, touring in Brazil, Patagonia or the Andes area or return back to Buenos Aires. The private transfer to the Puerto Iguazu (IGR) airport is included.

I would definitely recommend Say Hueque to anyone planning a trip to Iguazu, and I would certainly look to them first for other trips.

I had chosen to contact Say Hueque to arrange a 2-day trip to Iguazu Falls based on the very strong reviews that I had read, and my wife and I were not disappointed. First, the planning of the trip, months in advance, was excellent, with very responsive staff answering my many questions and making the arrangements (including the excellent Loi Suites hotel) efficiently. And all of this was executed as well as is possible - from meeting us on our flight from Buenos Aires, to efficient transport and timing of our local guide and driver (which involved going over to Brazil on our arrival to see the Brazilian side, leading to passing through 4 border controls (those do take time, but our guide was very helpful in facilitating these)). The flights arranged by Say Hueque were exactly what we needed for our schedule, the hotel was wonderful, and, of course, the Falls are amazing. On our return flight to Buenos Aires to the domestic airport, Say Hueque arranged for a driver to take us to the international airport, and that went off perfectly. And Sergio at Say Hueque contacted us while we were traveling and followed us every step of the way making sure that all went well. I would definitely recommend Say Hueque to anyone planning a trip to Iguazu, and I would certainly look to them first for other trips.

We had a fantastic time. Your guide Lucas is first class! He exceeded our expectations. You can see he is passionate about what he does. He was great at spotting caimans, giant catfish and many other animals. Great knowledge of area, history and plants.
