Thank you for taking care of us in Argentina.

Dear Florencia,

Thank you for taking care of us in Argentina. It was quite an adventure especially with my very limited Spanish. We really enjoyed seeing and photographing all the new plants and animals, glaciers, mountains, buildings, museums, and people. We took 8,000 pictures. Everyone was helpful and I know my Spanish must sound terrible since tense, gender, case, and pronunciation are all off. I know it must seem very strange to hear a reasonably intelligent adult person speaking so poorly. Our return home was painful for me since I had a cold and then an ear infections which I am still recovering from.

The nicest hotel was Hosteria Las Torres but you must reserve early if you want a cheap room. They had the best breakfast but the lunches and dinners are expensive. You can eat at the bar for a lot less and the meals are large enough for 2 people to share so the cost is very reasonable and the hours are better for those of us from the USA. We also had a good time at Two Hotel since the manager lived in NJ for 5 years and he helped us out when the Tango show missed our reservation. The manager gave us the largest and best room in the hotel (906). That was nice of him!

The best excursion was at Torres del Paine since they had a driver, car, and guide and a lunch. All the excursions should say if there is a car for the whole day or just for delivery and pick up or not at all and if there is a lunch. That would make planning a lot simpler. All the excursions were good, the guides knowledgeable and the one with you in Buenos Aires was interesting and fun but the setting was not as novel for us since Buenos Aires is a bit like New York City.

I think it would be nice to have optional night excursions to variety shows, classical guitar, art shows, Opera activities, etc. such as the Ipora Lena show in Brazil.

Thanks again. We had a great time.

We had had a wonderful trip to Argentina and Rio de Janeiro

Hola Yuna,
We are finally safely back to normal at home with the jet lag!

We had had a wonderful trip to Argentina and Rio de Janeiro. Thanks very much to Say Hueque tours.

The overall trips went well. Our views are as follow:
• Timings for pick up were punctual for all except at arrival at Iguazu airport where we had to ring to locate the tour agent. There were no problems in locating the agents on all arrivals and on tour pick ups at all times.
• The services were good in general. The choices of accommodations were comfortable and clean. Locations were convenient.
• We were most impressed and happy with the tour at Ushuaia and also the accommodation. The hotel location was central, convenient, clean and comfortable. The tour guide and the driver of Nunatak Adventure for the trekking and canoeing were amazing. The lunch set up in a tent and they even cooked the delicious meal and served with wine in the national park was unforgettable! Well done fellows!
• On leaving both at El Calafate and Ushuaia, the tour agents had booked our seats on line ahead and provided us with on-line check in documents which were very much appreciated and thoughtful. Most flights were full for all our trips and where no seats were booked ahead we were normally allocated to end of the planes which were not so comfortable! As you have booked the flights for the entire tour and should also book the seats for the passengers in future.
• The tours conducted by the Brazilian travel agents were disappointing especially at Rio de Janeiro. The guide for the half day tour of Corcovado and park walk was an amateur. The guide for the Sugar Loaf and city tour was slight better but not much good in explaining or rather did so in a hurry to get over the job. Both tours were late and finished early and provided only 3 hours instead of 4 hours tours.
• The mini guides provided were very useful. Thank you.
• The national park entrance fees are very costly even to Australian standard! We know you have no control but perhaps can express to the local authorities that the costs are too high. The entry fees should be valid for a week or at least for a few days instead of daily fee!
We would certainly recommend you to our friends heading to Argentina in future. Attached are couple of photos for the tours.

Thanks very much for the recipe for the Empanada. We love them and also the Parilla!

I lost my prescribed spectacle at the Iguazu trail! The guide was going to find out from the rangers if anyone handled in a pair of glasses at end of day 12th March. I guessed there was no sign of it as I did not hear from him! I am very short sighted and was rather blind from that day on! Luckily I also have a pair of prescribed dark sun glasses which I had to use from then on for day and night. Looked like a blind person at night with sun glasses on me, no choice...!

Thanks and regards,
Paul and Helen

THANK YOU for a job well done

We extend our congratulations to Cecilia, Veronica and team Say Hueque for putting together a wonderful trip. We chose the 21 day Patagonian adventure plus 4 days in Rio de Janeiro for our 25th wedding anniversary. The honey moon vacation went very well thanks to the co-operating agencies along with a competent, energetic and caring Say Hueque staff. We were especially impressed with the smooth transfers, central location of all our hotels, their quality and most of all the hospitality of the Argentinean people. We covered a lot of ground and had no problems whatsoever. The sights, the people, the food were all incredible. We had five National Parks on the agenda and we managed to see them all. We walked on Perito Moreno Glacier, hiked to Mount Fitz Roy, trekked the magnificent Torres del Paine, canoed Lapatia River to the end of the world in Ushuaia, watched Patagonian’s wildlife on the Peninsula Valdes and Punta Tombo and explored the sensational Iguazu Falls. We started our journey in sunny Buenos Aires dancing Argentinean tango and finished with the samba in Rio. Sadly, the trip is over but the music will stay with us forever!
THANK YOU for a job well done.

Elizabeth and Roman
