(5 / 5)We had a wonderful visit to Iguazu
We had a wonderful visit to Iguazu. The hotel was very good. Carla did an excellent job of taking us to the Brazil side of the Falls, getting us thru Immigration in both directions and escorting us thru the park and providing commentary.

(5 / 5)Thank you so much for a trip of a lifetime. Everybody here asks us why we picked Argentina to visit. After i show them our pictures and talk about our trip they want to visit too someday. You took very good care of us on our trip and we thank you for that. We would recommend your company to anyone who is interested in visiting Argentina!
We arrived home safely with no flight delays so that's a bonus. We miss Argentina already. Our trip was fantastic and memorable so hopefully we will return soon. Here are our answers to your questions:
Actually I saw that Say/Hueque was recommended in Frommer's Travel Guide and felt if your company was recommended in the book then it was a good company to use to plan our trip. I also looked on reviews on Trip Advisor and since they were good reviews I decided to go with your company.
There were so many parts of the trip that we loved and appreciated. We liked the fact that we were picked up by someone from the airport when we arrived. Picked up for our trip to Bariloche both ways and picked up from our hotel to go back to EZE. That definitely took some stress off of our trip. Our whole trip went accordingly without any delays or mixups. Say/Hueque planned everything out and it was perfect for us. Also, we appreciated the restaurant suggestions since we didn't know where good places to eat were. For only being in Argentina for 8 days Say/Hueque showed us the best of Buenos Aires and Bariloche.
We loved both our hotels. Fierro had wonderful and helpful staff. They couldn't have been more helpful to us. The breakfast was always delicious. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. In Bariloche we stayed at Cacique Inacayal Lake Hotel and it was very nice. The view from our room was breathtaking. Waking up every morning to the blue skies, lake and mountains in the background. It was amazing. The breakfast was great. The variety of food offered was fabulous and delicious. The location was great since it was only a few blocks from the Town Centre. The room was a little crowded with 3 people but we were only in our room to sleep at night. The pool was nice too especially since it was rainy and windy 1 day so we just hung out at the indoor pool.
I really can't pick just one. We loved all our excursions because each was different and showed us different aspects of each city.
All 3 of our guides were exceptional. We loved Rodrigo's passion for Buenos Aires and showing us the history, the way of life and the beautiful sights. I wish we would've had him show us around another day too. His English was very good so it wasn't difficult listening to him explain the history of the city. In Bariloche we had Karen as our guide. Since she spoke English there was no problem understanding her. When we went to Cerro Campanario I didn't know you had to go on a ski left. I told her i was afraid of heights and not sure if I could do it. She rode with me on the lift and helped me to go up and see the amazing views. I'm so glad she did. I wouldn't have wanted to miss those spectacular views. She also introduced us to mate tea. Rodrigo explained it to us and Karen gave us a taste of it which I'm glad she did since I didn't really like it so I didn't buy any. Karen was a nice, easy going tour guide who was happy to convey her deep knowledge of the Bariloche Big Circuit area. Then we had Nicholas take us on a boat tour of the Nahuel Huapi Lake and eventually wound up on land and trekking a mile to see a beautiful waterfall. The lake views were breathtaking. Nicholas spoke 5 different languages which was very impressive. He was very knowledgeable of the area.
Everything was fantastic and went very smoothly. I just wish we could've spent more time in your beautiful country. Thank you so much for a trip of a lifetime. Everybody here asks us why we picked Argentina to visit. After i show them our pictures and talk about our trip they want to visit too someday. You took very good care of us on our trip and we thank you for that. We would recommend your company to anyone who is interested in visiting Argentina!

(4 / 5)We were impressed with how well everything was organized and how timely and friendly all of our drivers and guides were. We would be happy to recommend Say Hueque to others
Hola Rodrigo! Things are going well - it's good to be home, but we had a great trip! We were impressed with how well everything was organized and how timely and friendly all of our drivers and guides were. We would be happy to recommend Say Hueque to others. Let me dig into your questions:
I found an organization call Responsible Travel that operates out of London. RT in turn gave us five tour operators' contact information, including yours. I contacted each tour operator and like what I heard from Say Hueque the best. I had some problems on my end with my email but Karen Rosa persevered through it all and was easy to work with.
Mary and I agree that the best aspect of our travels, apart from the scenery, was how well organized everything was. I kept expecting something to not work out or be late or confused, but all of your local guides and drivers really were prompt, courteous and organized. Frankly, I was surprised at how everything fell into place and worked like "clockwork". I also thought that your hotel arrangements were consistently very good or better.
My favorites were based more on the staff than the amenities. In that regard, the staffs at Bellini and at Senderos Hosteria were really great. The little hotels in El Calafate and, especially the Ilaia, in Punta Arenas, were great. In retrospect I wish that we had had more time in Punta Arenas.
Favorite excursion: We think that it probably was the trip to Perito Moreno - pretty tough to beat it for the spectacle.
Hildago (?) in Buenos Aires did a nice job and we also enjoyed Jaquin for the trip to Valparaiso.
A couple of things come to mind: (a) We did not understand the choice between taking a small boat launch to Hosteria Grey vs. getting off at the shore and walking to the hotel. We walked and it took us over a half hour to get there, even though we walk at a brisk clip. It was kind of a cool walk, since we were walking into steady gale force winds that were blowing off yet another glacier SW of the hotel on the isthmus, but it would have been good to have made an informed choice. We were also told to meet the driver at the hotel, but he was waiting in the parking lot that we had walked through on the way to the hotel. It took another hour for everybody to get together. (b) The winery excursion out of Santiago was not what we were expecting. The driver did not speak English but he showed us some notes which had us arriving at the second winery at 5:30 in the afternoon! I said "no way" and we just went to the Montes winery, itself about 2-1/2 hours from Santiago. As it was, with just the one winery, we still didn't return until 5:30 after leaving at 9:00. I would not have planned this if I had any idea about the time involved, but Montes really was a fun visit. Romi, not a guide but a winery representative, is also worth mentioning as someone who we thoroughly enjoyed! Maybe one other thing: there was a bar next to our hotel in Ushuaia that cranked up the bass around 2:00 in the morning and lasted until 6:00 am. A nice enough hotel, but not a very good location. Let me end this with some positives - when we took Say Hueque's advice, we wound up at some really nice restaurants. I don't remember all the names but I do remember Maria Lola in Ushuaia and Pura Vida (?) in El Calafate. We also went to El Tablita in El Calafate and it was excellent. We found a place in Puerto Natales that was very good - Santolla. It was a very funky little place that was made out of five shipping containers and was playing some great ska in the background - check it out.
Great trip, thanks to everyone at Say Hueque!

(4 / 5)Everything else was great and everything ran very smoothly!
Hi Patricia, so glad you contacted us for some feedback.
Susan and I own small businesses at home, so we know how important it is.
Just a few comments.
We found Say Hueque on the internet. Our first agent was Silvia, and she was very good. The subsequent agents were just OK. There was definitely a few of them and corresponding confusion on our vouchers and airline tickets and hotel room at Iguazu Falls. All worked out but there were numerous emails to get things clarified.
The drivers to and from the airport were good.
Our guide at the falls was very good.

Good Morning Rodrigo,
Snowing here in the north woods of Wisconsin USA. Just thought you might want to know that. Marc and Phil are out burning some brush piles. Busy all around.
We found Say Hueque through an internet search that Marc initiated and from what he read and the reviews noted he decided to make contact which was a very wise decision. Loved the accuracy of the transports and assurances that they were there on time.
It is very hard for me to select a best part of our experience with the travel service, but if pressed I would have to say the people working for the agency. Their warmth and competence was outstanding. Each excursion was different enough and interesting enough to stand on its own merit.
Our favorite hotel was the Bellini, due to the staff that work there and the overall ambience and location of the hotel. Never have that solid of service at a hotel.
Excursions as noted above were great. Salta and all that it entailed was exceptional in the breadth of experiences and Iguazu Falls area was breathtaking, only wished we had stayed another day to explore further.
The guides were one of the highlights of the trip. Raul out of Salta was so impressive in his quiet knowledge of his home country and the perspective of place in the world. Humbling.
We have no comments related to improvements as we were over the top pleased with our encounter with the agency and people.
Special thanks to you Rodrigo for everything and Great Energy to you as you enter this next exciting phase of your life.
(5 / 5)The hotel provided was luxurious and beautiful! Such a great place to stay, staff were great and facilities were fantastic. Couldn't ask for more.
I am great thank you!
We have returned to the hotel for a couple hours until we fly to rio tonight to continue for another two months in Latin America. Yay!
The hotel provided was luxurious and beautiful! Such a great place to stay, staff were great and facilities were fantastic. Couldn't ask for more.
But oh the falls, they were magnificent! Indescribable in their beauty!
We did bioth sides and they were so much more than we could ever have imagined!
The tour guides were fantastic very good English very friendly and made out journey through the falls great!
We found say hueque through the internet while searching for Tours to the falls, and the itinerary looked the best, and was a great price.
Sadly we only did two days with the tour including the bus to iguassu from buenos aires which was fantastic! The sleeping bus with reclining chairs were so comfortable and a great way to travel, a little tricky to find the bus at the beginning to board but that's nothing to say about the company more the Retiro bus station issue. There was no one to ask for help or information and as we speak very limited Spanish that was a little difficult but we got through!
The only fault was not being picked up at the iguassu bus terminal as our bus was late, and when we arrived none of the phones or computers were accessible at the bus terminal so we then had to pay for our own taxi :(
But all in all a great tour and we enjoyed it thoroughly.

(4 / 5)Everything was well organized and we didn’t have to worry about what to do the next days.
We really had a good time with our program and it was great that we were able to change the excursion in Ushuaia so that it fitted well for Guylann.
We find your website with google search.
Everything was well organized and we didn’t have to worry about what to do the next days.
All the hotels we had were very nice. Our favorite was the one in Puerto Natales as it is new and we felt nearly like at home with very nice personal. The one in Punta Arenas was also very nice in that old charming house and there was the best breakfast (eggs done on demand and nice buffet).
Perito Moreno (Big Ice) was amazing even if the guide was not the most friendly we’ve had.
The only thing that did not go well was the first transfer from the bus station to our hotel in El Calafate. It is true that our bus was late due to problem at the border but then nobody was waiting for us and after calling the local contact they just told us to take a taxi. We had paid for that service and we did not feel that they were concerned about the fact that we had to organise ourselves. But in the end, it is just a small problem, but could be annoying anyway.
I’ve just added a review on Trip advisor.

(5 / 5)Say hueque did an outstanding job and we could not be more pleased with our tours.
I have posted a review online. Thank you so much – we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with you and Adrian (Iguaza falls). Both tours were very well executed and the highlight of our south america visit.
Say hueque did an outstanding job and we could not be more pleased with our tours.
If you ever find your way to Vancouver, Canada – please hang onto my email and don’t hesitate to look me up. [My North Face hikers are still holding up well – I think you got a bad deal.
(4 / 5)Thank you for all your work and will recommend you to anyone who wants a travel agent in Argentina or Chile.
We are well. Our flights back were fine, just long. We had a wonderful holiday but it is always nice to be home.
I first saw your name when I did a search for tour companies in Chile and Argentina. I also read some recommendations on Trip Ad visor. I did contact some other agencies. However I liked the fact that you would book for us in both countries and your prices were competitive. You responded quickly to my inquiries and to questions I had about the itinerary.
Everything was great. Our rides were always where they were suppose to be when they were suppose to be except the one day in Buenos Aires but that was because we didn't get the information of a time change until the next day. The tours were as described and we enjoyed all of them. The best part was the security of knowing that we had people taking care of us. Our first day in Santiago let us know that were in good hands with Say Hueque.
We like both hotels for different reasons. The one in Santiago was fairly new, very comfortable in a good location with restaurants nearby. There was always at least one person in reception that could speak English. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood. L'Hotel Palermo was charming. Initially we wondered where the hotel was and then when we went inside, the lobby is a little tired looking but Immediately Gabriel made us feel very welcome. Our rooms were nice. I have to say that the spray that they used in the rooms had too strong a perfume smell. It was not unpleasant but bothered my allergies. I opened the window to deal with that. Everything else was great but biggest plus of the L'Hotel was the staff. All of the reception staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Gabriel answered all our questions, made suggestions and gave us information about places we were going to visit. He was fabulous. The others were good to but he was working most of the time we were there and really made an effort. L"Hotel's location was great. there were so many places to eat. It was a bit of a walk to the subway but very doable. Breakfasts in both were very good. Santiago had a little more variety but Buenos Aires had fresh warm buns and croissants.
My favourite excursion was the one to Iguazu Falls. The hotel there was great. I wish I had booked us to stay there 2 nights. I felt being just on the Argentinian side of the falls was enough but I'd have liked more time at the park so we could have shopped a little and just enjoyed the scenery a little more. I'd have also liked more time at the hotel to walk the paths and enjoy nature. If we had stayed another night we might have taken a cab into town to try a different restaurant and see what was there. The decision was mine but that is one thing I'd change. Also Caesar was very knowledgeable but when two of our group did not want to do the boat ride, he took them to a rest area and left them there. I had assumed that he would take them on a tour of other areas. He told those of us on the boat where to meet him and then went to look for us. Somehow he missed us and we waited for more than 30 minutes for him to return. These things happen and I appreciated that he wanted to ensure we made it to the meeting spot but I do think he should have stayed with the two people not on the boat.
I liked the city tours; they were informative and interesting. The wine tours in Chile were very good. The restaurant at which we had lunch that day was fabulous.
The Valpairiso tour was good but I'd have liked to see a little more of the city and perhaps ride more than one funicular. That's just being very picky. It was fine.
All the guides were good. they each had their own strengths. I particularly enjoyed Roberto and Juan in Buenos Aires. Our city tour guide in Santiago was very good too.
I really appreciated the sim card for my phone in Chile. I would have like one for Argentina too. It would have helped with the day that we had a miscommunication about the pickup time.
The tango dinner was too late for us. I know that you do not have control over times but starting dinner at 9 and the show at ten meant we weren't back at our hotel until almost midnight. When we are on vacation we are often up early to go on tours so a dinner hour at that time makes for a long day and perhaps a short night. Just a minor point, the restaurant was very cold. Everyone at our table, even the men, found it too cool.
Sorry this took so long to send. I tried to send some pictures but for some reason they wouldn't send. If you have any other questions, please contact me. Feel free to give my email to anyone who wants a recommendation of you.
Thank you for all your work I have posted on TripAdvisor and will recommend you to anyone who wants a travel agent in Argentina or Chile.
(4 / 5)Overall, we were very pleased with the tour and were particularly impressed with you, Rodrigo. Everything ran smoothly and was first-class. Thank you to everyone at Say Hueque.
We have returned from Antarctica and are home safe, sound, and happy. Below are my replies to your questions. Overall, we were very pleased with the tour and were particularly impressed with you, Rodrigo. We appreciated all the work you did to put us back on schedule after the late arrival of our plane. That was very helpful; we could not have done it on our own. Everything ran smoothly and was first-class. Thank you to everyone at Say Hueque.
I found Say Heque on the internet when looking for Patagonia tours.
The best aspect of our experience was in the planning--being able to get answers to our questions from someone who was familiar with the area, hotels, and tours; and having every detail arranged for us.
There was only one hotel on our itinerary--El Mirador del Lago, but we thought it was very nice. It was in a good location, attractive, friendly, the rooms were nice and clean, and the bathrooms were modern. (Due to a flight delay, Rodrigo arranged a nice hotel in Palermo that we also enjoyed.)
My favorite excursion was Perito Moreno glacier, because we got close to the glacier and had time to absorb the beauty from many angles and take pictures. However, I enjoyed them all for different reasons.
I am sorry, I did not write down the names of our guides. Our guide at Christina Estancia on the historical tour was very good. (We did the ATV tour first, then ate lunch and did the historic tour last.) Our guide in Torres del Paine was easy to understand and very nice. I remember she lives in a small town, has two young children, really loves her work, and it shows. The guide who was with us to the Chilean border spoke particularly good English and explained the border crossing very well. All the guides were friendly.
I would like to see more detail on the invoice to know exactly what was included. Much of our pre-trip communication was through emails and the final invoice did not specially list all that was discussed. For example, the transport from the airport to our hotel on the last day was not listed. I had to search through emails to verify that it had been arranged. Also, lunch for the Christina Estancia was not clear; it appeared that lunch was included, but then on the boat we learned that it was not. I would like to see each item listed: transport between airports, flight info, transport to hotel, hotel, tours, specific lunch (who provides), etc. The transportation and lunches were not clearly explained or listed. (I guess we had chosen to have a box lunch rather than the lamb, but we were not told how to get that box lunch, nor did we have a choice in sandwich.)
