URUGUAY: COLONIA, MONTEVIDEO OR PUNTA DEL ESTE

Tour any of the main cities in Uruguay

Tour Buenos Aires and the highlights of nearby Uruguay.
Uruguay Travel, invites you to visit Colonia’s markets, cosmopolitan Montevideo and Punta del Este beaches.

Day 1 - Uruguay Tour

A beautiful and easy way to visit the Argentina’s neighbor country of Uruguay from Buenos Aires is by boat. The historical tiny town of Colonia del Sacramento –1-hour ferry ride from BA– offers you a one way ticket to the past, founded in the 17th century, it stills conserve most of the old buildings in its historical downtown. The modern capital of Montevideo, lying by the shores of the Rio de la Plata at about 2 hours from BA, combines the feeling of a big city with that colonial touch along its neighborhoods and port. Our tours include round trip transfers, round trip boat, sightseeing tour with bilingual guide, lunch and some time at leisure.

It was a fantastic holiday - thank you and all the team for organising everything so well and efficiently!

Hola Marcela

Thank you for your email.

It was lovely meeting you and we wish to thank you and all the team for organising everything so well and efficiently. Please find following answers to your questions

We found Say Hueque on the internet. We have always liked using travel agents in the country we are visiting because of their knowledge of their own country and all funds being spent go direct to the country we are visiting. Your prompt responses to our emails and suggestions were a major reason for our using your company.

All drivers and guides were punctual and the cars were of very good quality. The English of the guides was excellent, especially Victor, and his driver Eduardo, in Bariloche. Our guides and driver in Buenos Aires and Uruguay were also very good.

It was a fantastic holiday and it was made much easier with Say Hueque’s organisation.

Many thanks.

Kind regards

Catriona & Steve

Say Hueque clearly knew the most about Argentina and about what was feasible and not feasible.

Found Say Heuque by Googling "Tour guides in Argentina".

We had been working simultaneously with 3 different travel agencies, trying to come up with an itinerary. Say Hueque clearly knew the most about Argentina and about what was feasible and not feasible. I had some suggestions that were too aggressive time-wise and travel-wise, and Say Heuque let me know so! We were able to go back and forth many times tweaking the itinerary (with Say Heuque's suggestions) until we had it just right. We never felt bad suggesting yet another change, and Say Heuque was efficient and timely in responding back and effecting the change.

The tour guides were all very nice, eager to share their knowledge of the country, and very accommodating. The information they provided us with was very comprehensive. Transfers were all timely and directions as to park fees, meeting times, etc., were right on the money. Restaurant and leisure activity recommendations were very helpful. Prices were reasonable.

The Bel Air, in Buenos Aires. It was very comfortable and centrally located.

Favorite excursion - Perito Moreno glacier - mini trekking across the glacier.

Patricia and Rita? (guide to Colonia); both were super nice and super smart.

We weren't that happy with the Nibepo Aike Estancia. Though the area was beautiful, it was quite a long (and VERY bumpy) trip to see some sheep, walk around, and have lunch. We felt we kind of wasted a day doing that.
